Printmaking: Take One
My one goal for this weekend was to prepare materials for the Drexel Art Auction. My scarf is finished and the flower broach has a pin back. For this year's auction I absolutely wanted to provide bidders (and all others interested in my work) with my contact information. I brainstormed ideas of how to present that information and business cards were the first method that came to mind. Since I just began making paper and doing linoleum block printing I wanted to make truly unique cards. Here are some photos of my first attempts.

Hi DuhBe! Thank you for the comment! Yes, we do seem to have purple, roses, and sewing in common! I must say your blog is spectacular! And your studio! It looks great. I am in the process of redoing a room in our house to be the studio and we desperately need wall shelves like you have!

Hi Jackie! Thank you for kind words! My fiance is an artist who specializes in printmaking so I had fantastic one on one instruction! Paper collage is great. I've been considering combining my handmade paper with watercolor and fabric to make collages!
